In Home CPR classes

Pediatric Housecalls started offering private, in home CPR classes in 2020, right before the pandemic started. The instructor is a pediatric nurse practitioner and is certified by the American Heart Association. The AHA is a leader in heart safety and training. They have also set Covid-19 safety guidelines to practice in their courses.

Emergencies can happen anywhere, so knowing what to do in a crisis can be vital. This course is great for parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, etc. CPR is performed when a heart stops beating. Doing CPR immediately can double/triple the chance to survive a cardiac arrest. There are over 350,000 cardiac arrests that occur outside of hospitals annually, and almost half of these cases survived when CPR was administered by someone trained to assist.

Classes cover First Aid, Infant/Child/Adult CPR, Choking, and other safety information. Part is done online at your own pace, and the hands on training will take place in your home at your scheduled time. Cost is $80 per person, plus an additional $20 for online materials. Due to Covid precautions, there is a max of 3 people or 3 couples per class. For more details or to schedule a private class at home, please call Pediatric Housecalls at 704-591-7196 or send an email to info@pedhousecalls.com.
