Donuts and Discussions

Donuts and Discussions

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency host several Donuts and Discussions (FREE mini nanny training sessions) throughout the year. During these trainings, nannies from the Charlotte Metro area enjoy valuable presentations on topics related to the nanny, domestic, and childcare industry from professionals in our community.

At Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency we believe continuing education is an important thing for our nannies and domestic professionals to be involved with. We believe the more knowledge they have, the more valuable they can be to our families and their children. We highly recommend attending continuing education training sessions throughout the year.

Though we normally host these trainings at our office in Dilworth, we have stuck to virtual the last year to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our nannies safe. In 2020 we hosted virtual discussions on the pandemic, the effects on the community, and how to help children grow/thrive during this time. We also discussed front and rear facing car seat safety. Other discussions focused on personal/professional development. Topics included virtual learning opportunities, finding a new job, transitioning positions, and domestic pay/taxes.

Our most recent Donuts and Discussion was with Bea Moise, a parenting coach and board certified cognitive specialist. She spoke to us on How to Establish a positive Nanny/Family Relationship. If you missed this talk we have a recording available by request. Just email us at to request a link to the discussion.

Thank you to Bea and everyone who attended our Zoom call. This talk was very enlightening and we are so thankful for the opportunity to hear from Bea Moise.

On May 16th we will have our next Donuts and Discussions talk by Kelly Durden Posey of Inspired Inclusivity Consulting on Zoom. She will be giving us 5 Essential Tips to Support Inclusive Kids: Nanny Edition. This will be a great talk and if you can make it, we would love to have you join us for this month’s Donuts and Discussions. To register to attend this event visit:
