Wing Haven is a Bird Sancutary   in Charlotte’s Myers Park Nieghborhood. They have beautiful a beautiful  garden, and plenty of feathered friends.   They are offering an Autumn Art activity today, featuring  fall foilage.

Wednesday Thankful for Community Members @ Discovery Place Charlotte
This is a great opprotunity to   explore Discovery Place, while teaching your kids to be thankful for people   who service our community. Your kids will be able to help decorate a banner   that says thanks to our community helpers, such as Police Men, EMS, and   Firefighters in Charlotte.

Thursday Discovery Place Kids, then Lupie’s Café for lunch
Head a bit north of town and you   will find yourself in Huntersville, NC, at Discovery Place Kids. This is an   interactive kids museum that is sure to keep your little ones busy. Your   child can play on a real fire engine, be a farmer, work at a pizza kitchen,   be a grocery store clerk, drive a race car, and much more. After you explore   the museum head across the street for lunch at one of our favorite local   restaurants, Lupie’s Cafe Huntersville.

Friday Southern Chrostmas Show @ The Park Expo, Running November   14th-24th
Let’s go to the Southern   Christmas Show….. We love that jingle. This is one of our favorite shows for   the holiday season. The Southern Christmas Show in Charlotte, NC features,   local artist, local food and wine, a gibgerbread contest, and lots of christmas   Joy. You can even see Santa. This is one of our favorite Christmas   Traditions.
