We love Greek Food at our house, and love Tzatziki Sauce. So today, while I am snowed in I decided to make some Tzatziki for Chick Gyro’s we are making for dinner. The Tzatziki was very easy to make and taste delicious. If you ever want to make your own Tzatziki, try this recipe.
2 – 8 ounce containers of Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup of Sour Cream ( We used reduced fat to save calories)
2 Cucumbers Peeled (seeded and diced)
3 cloves of minced Garlic
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
Juice from one half of a Lemon
1 Tablespoon of Dill
Salt and Pepper to taste
Take all ingredients and put them into your Kitchen Aid Mixer, Food Processor, or blender. Blend, or mix all ingredients until you get your desired consistency. Scoop into separate bowl, cover, over and store in refrigerator until ready to eat.
