The year has been flying by so far and the unofficial start of summer is here – Memorial Day Weekend! Many people take this weekend to have BBQs, go on family vacation, or just enjoy their three day weekend. Charlotte’s Best Nanny has found a few awesome ideas to celebrate the holiday with the whole family and honor what the holiday is all about!

Here’s a super cute craft idea for you and your kiddos to make for Memorial Day. You can make a popsicle stick flag to celebrate our American heritage and freedom that the red, white and blue represent. You can add your own embellishments such as glitter paint, stickers and gems or create a simple American flag using just paint and the popsicle sticks. This makes a great activity to have ready for your family BBQ, just put the supplies out on a table and let the kids have fun making their own U.S.A. flag.
