2020 Halloween Costume Contest Winners

2020 Halloween Costume Contest

Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween! Did you see our staff photos on Instagram? Emily and her family dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters, while Kristin and her niece donned Anna and Elsa costumes.

Thanks to everyone for entering out annual costume contests. We got several entries and there were so many great costumes!

The winner of the contest and a $50 Amazon gift card is Lisa Carpenter and her adorable kids dressed up as Batman and Batgirl.

Other great costumes we saw include Cobra Kai, Charlotte and Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web, Dr Frakenstein, and 2 cute dogs dressed as “pupcorn” and “pupsi”.

Here are some ideas for all of that leftover Halloween candy you may have…..

  • Freeze and use in Christmas stockings.
  • Add candy pieces to cookies or brownies for an extra treat
  • Use in treat bags for Thanksgiving celebrations.
  • Slip into holiday advent calendars or incorporate into Elf on a Shelf ideas

If you’re looking to get rid of the Halloween candy, consider donating to an organization that sends candy to our troops. It’s a great way to honor the military ahead of veteran’s day and to teach kids about gratitude this month. Treats for Troops and Operation Gratitude are both collecting candy to donate to service members overseas.
