Halloween is today! The holiday definitely looks different this year with health officials discouraging traditional trick or treating. Some neighborhoods have opted to host drive through trick or treating. Others are making treat bags to be picked up from a safe distance, avoiding germs from a communal candy bowl. We encourage you to check with your neighborhood and city for information on Halloween events and activities.
If trick or treating, be sure to still wear a mask and practice social distancing by keeping 6 feet away from others. Also, take care to use hand sanitizer as needed and wash your hands after being out.
Here are some alternative ideas to celebrate Halloween if you decide not to trick or treat.
- Pumpkin Carving at Home
- Making Halloween Crafts
- Virtual Costume Party
- Snoopy Halloween Movie Night on Apple TV
- Baking Halloween treats
