The best memories I have as a kid was going to see the Christmas lights in Mcadenville, NC. We have several places around Charlotte to create these memories with your family. The Christmas Wonderland of Lights features over 3.5 Million Lights over a 2 mile drive-through and ends with a light show set to music in our Western Town. We also have Santa Claus joining us every evening, pony rides, petting zoos, concessions, roasting pits for marshmallows, and much much more. | |

| Event | Tanglewood Festival of Lights |
| Tanglewood is another town featuring Christmas lights. It is an hour and eight minutes from Charlotte, but it’s worth the drive. Lights come on daily from 6:00pm – 11:00pm. Tanglewood also offers a chance to get your photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Clause. Also featuring horse drawn carriage rides, and a gift shop. | |

| Event | Speedway Christmas 2013 |
| Speedway Christmas 2013 is returning for it’s fourth year. This event features Christmas 3 million lights strung all over the track. When all the lights are on, it is such a sight to see. The infield offers a unique Christmas Village, featuring a petting zoo, Bethlehem Village, and an opportunity to take a photo with Santa. Movies are shown on an HDTV every Friday and Saturday night. | |

| A Christmas tradition in this area since 1956. Mcadenville is a small town, between Gastonia and Charlotte, that features a whole town decorated in Christmas lights. The lights go on Monday – Friday from 5:30 – 9:30pm, and Friday and Saturday from 5:30-11:oopm. This town is sure to leave a big impression on the whole family. Please be warned that there is always a lot of traffic in the area, and this will take a while to drive through. | |
