We starters with this adorable Snowman Cake Pop Pan from Williams and Sonoma.

For the cake part we used a box of Red Velvet Cake Mix. We mixed the cake batter according to the instructions on the box. Then we took then cake batter and filled one side of the mold pan. Then popped the other side of pan on top and locked it. Then you bake the pops at 325 for 18 min. The cake will rise and form them pops. After they come out you will stick lollipop sticks (can buy at Michael’s crafts) in each pop. At this point your pop will look like this:

After your pops have cooled it is time to cover them with melted candy melts. For this we use candy melts (you can find these at Micheals), candy melts are easy to melt and come in a variety of colors, so you don’t have to worry about dyeing the candy.

To melt the candy melts, all you have to do is pop them in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. The candy melts will need to be stirred into a smooth consistency when they come out. Next you need to paint the melted candy melts on the pops. I tried dipping theme but it did not work as well. After you dip them, let them dry on parchment paper. Then you can take colored icing and add details of a carrot nose, eyes, buttons, and a mouth. When you are done they should look like this:
