Fall is a great time for some outdoor activities here in the Carolinas. Take advantage of the cooler temperatures and enjoy some local fun. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
- Hiking

- Apple Orchards
- Pumpkin Patches
- Socially Distanced neighborhood or Drive Thru Trick or Treating Events
*We encourage you to check with local businesses on limited hours and social distancing requirements and follow all guidelines. Calling them or checking social media may be more accurate than websites which may not be updated as often.
There are also some great things you can do at home if you’re not comfortable being out and about.
Bake/cook fall foods. Watch Halloween Wars, Sugar Rush, Great British Baking Show, or the Halloween Baking Championship for ideas. Find recipes on Pinterest.
Watch Panthers and/or college football. Dress in your team’s colors and host an at home tailgate with your favorite game day snacks.
Carve or decorate pumpkins. Order one from the grocery store with your pickup order or buy a craft pumpkin to be shipped from a craft store.
Check out fall and Halloween movies and specials. Netflix, Disney Plus, Food Network, Hallmark channel, and more have great seasonal choices to watch.
