President’s Day
Monday, February 20th is President’s Day and you know what that means most of the kids are out of school. Here at Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency, we thought we would share some fun information about teaching your children or nanny kids about President’s Day, some President’s Day arts and crafts activities, and information about some President’s Day babysitting and camps in town. Teaching Children about President’s Day
What is Presidents Day? It’s in honor of George Washington’s birthday. Celebrated on the third Monday of February, in honor of George Washington, the first President of the United States, who was born on February 22, 1732, and all other US presidents.
Who were our first five Presidents? George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe.
Who are other notable Presidents to learn about? Although we believe all of our President’s are worth learning about, here are a few notable presidents, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D Roosevelt, John F Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama.
President’s Day, Presidents Song
One of the best ways to teach children about all of our Presidents is through the President’s Song, that teaches kids all the names of the presidents.
