Back To School

It is that time again, time for the kids to go back to school. Which can only mean one thing. The dreaded back to school schedule, for parents this means that schedules are changing, some of your kids are moving up to different grades, and maybe even different schools. Parents usually also have a lot of back to school functions to attend as well. The best thing to do to concur this back to school season is to make sure you start early and, are organized. What ways help you stay organized? As a nanny, I always keep an up to date calendar. The biggest tip I have is to utilize a shared calendar with all members of your family. This will provide one place where everyone can see exactly what’s going on. Google docs are also helpful, by creating a list, and sharing it with people. This is helpful for the things you need to buy, or the things you need to turn in at the first of school. Also for all those back to school nights and other PTA meetings, it is important to have a reliable sitter.
