Easter weekend is right around the corner so we thought we would gather some information on fun family friendly activities going on around town.
2019 Queen City Easter Festival
Saturday April 13th 1PM-5PM
Carole Hoefener Center 615 E. 6th Street
This free event will include Easter Egg Hunts, face painting, photos with the Easter Bunny, bake sale, bouncy houses, and dance performances.
Pritchard Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday April 13th 10 AM-12 PM
Pritchard South End, 1117 South Blvd.
The Pritchard Easter Egg Hunt is a free event for the whole family and will include an Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, and bounce houses. In the case of rain, this event will be held in Pritchard Fellowship Hall
McGill’s Easter Eggs-travaganza
Saturday April 13th 11 AM-2 PM
McGill Rose Garden, 940 N. Davidson
This is the first annual Easter Eggs-travaganza being held at the McGill Rose Garden. This free event includes an Easter Egg Hunt, games, and a children’s DIY flower arrangement donation station.
Easter Egg Hunt Start Times:
Ages 0-3 : 11:30am
Ages 4-7: 12:00pm
Ages 8+: 12:30pm
If you purchase a $10 Activity Wristband you will have access to additional crafts, Easter bunny photos, bounce house, and popcorn and cotton candy.
Spring Fling 2019 at Hodge’s Family Farm
Friday April 19th and Saturday April 20th
Hodge’s Family Farm and Pumpkin Patch, 3900 Rocky River Rd.
Hodge’s Family Farm is hosting a Spring Fling that will include an Easter Egg Hunt (see website for age time slots) Easter Bunny, and farm animals. This event is $5 and tickets must be purchased in advance on the Eventbrite page (the cut off is April 17th). Visit Hodge’s Family Farm Eventbrite page for more information and to purchase tickets.
Historic Latta Plantation Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday April 20th 10 AM-3 PM
Historic Latta Plantation
Visit the Historic Latta Plantation and let you kids hunt for Easter Eggs filled with sweet treats. Some eggs might even include special surprises like free family memberships to Latta Plantations and summer camp discounts. While visiting Latta grab a photo with Baxter the bunny or meet some of the farm animals. Tickets and time slots for the Easter egg hunt can be found at the Latta Plantation website. Each children’s $8 admission also admits one adult.
6th Annual Easter Extravaganza at Ballantyne Village
Saturday April 20th 1PM-3PM

The 6th Annual Easter Extravaganza at Ballantyne Village is free for the whole family and features photos with the Easter Bunny, bouncy houses, live bunnies, and a balloon artist!
