We hope everyone is having a great first day of school, this includes students, teachers, school staff, parents, and nannies. After the crazy school year last year, we are wishing everyone as safe and happy of a school year as possible. We know this year comes with unique challenges, and there is more than ever for us parents to think about when it comes to having a successful year. However, we know that if we can all get through 2020, we hopefully can get through any challenges that may come up this year. From our team to you and your family, we are wishing you all the very best for school year 2021 – 2022.
Tips for After School Conversation Starters
We know there will be lots of after school conversations had by parents or nannies and children this year, so we wanted to give you some tips on some things to ask your children other than “How was your day?” I know as a former nanny and parent myself, that this is what I always wanted to ask the children after school. However, the same question day after day can get boring for children and may not spark the conversation you are looking for. Try these conversation starters instead.

- What made you laugh today?

- What games did you play at recess today?
- What made you feel happy today?
- Learn anything new today?
