Food, Entertainment & Fun For The Whole Family. The Yiasou Greek Festival began in 1978 and since then has become one of Charlotte’s largest cultural events. It is eagerly anticipated by the Charlotte community each year. The Yiasou (the Greek word for Hello, Goodbye and Cheers) Greek Festival features Hellenic cultural exhibits, authentic Greek cuisine and homemade pastries, entertainment, live music and dancing, wine tastings, art, shopping and more. Charlotte’s Kids Fest

The Great Pumpkin Fest at Carowinds

Filled with everything that makes fall a cheerful time of year and just enough spooky fun for little ghosts and goblins, Carowinds puts the “WEE!” in kids’ Halloween events with our Great Pumpkin Fest. Now bigger and better than ever – and always free with admission! In addition to fall-tastic activities galore in Camp Snoopy, Great Pumpkin Fest is expanding to two additional areas in the park, providing even more Halloween activities for kids and families than ever before. Get an extra helping of Snoopy and the whole PEANUTS™ gang as they host the all-new Great Pumpkin Fest Activity Trail with a challenge course, corn maze, hay bale maze, games, crafts and much more. Plus, head on over to Halloween Hootenanny in our all-new Blue Ridge Junction area where everyone will enjoy family games, fun activities and DJ Hoot ‘N’ Holler playing tunes for dancing on the midway.
