Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency host several Donuts and Discussions FREE nanny training sessions throughout the year called Donuts and Discussions. During these training sessions, nannies from the Charlotte Metro area and Carolinas enjoy donuts and coffee, and listen to valuable presentations from professionals in the community. These training sessions feature information on topics related to the nanny, domestic employment, and childcare industry. At Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency we believe continuing education is invaluable thing for nannies and domestic professionals to be involved in. We believe that knowledge is power, and there is always something to learn. Our team hopes these trainings can further each attendees professional development. We highly recommend any nanny or domestic professional to attend continuing education training sessions whenever they can throughout the year.
International Nanny Training Day
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency in partnership with Nannypalooza has hosted 4 InterNational Nanny Training Day Charlotte events. During these trainings, around 50 Nannies have the opportunity to attend a full day of training FREE of charge each year. We look forward to being a part of this training in the coming years.
CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is dedicated to placing nannies and sitters with current CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. We are dedicated to making sure the nannies and professionals we placed are properly certified in CPR/AED/First Aid at an affordable rate, so we partnered with a local CPR certification company. They provide nannies in our area a discounted rate to obtain their American Heart Association CPR/First Aid/AED certifications. All Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency candidates are required to be CPR and First Aid certified. If you are a nanny and are interested in being placed through our agency, you will need to provide proof of your CPR, AED, and First Aid certification before starting any position that we place. We feel that it is important for every member of the community who wants to get certified, have a chance to take the course. Darkness to Light Training
Pat’s Place provides Darkness to Light Training opportunities for both our families and nannies. This training is put together in partnership with Pat’s Place, Mecklenburg County’s only Child Advocacy Center. The Darkness to Light Training is a national sexual abuse prevention course that Pat’s Place offers to parents and child caregivers in the community. We have requested Pat’s Place to have a training for our nannies and parents. This is a great training for anyone in the childcare industry and all parents and nannies are welcome to register and attend. This training has also been approved for 2 contact hours of continuing education for social workers, nurses and child care providers.

Darkness to Light® Stewards of Children is a revolutionary sexual abuse prevention training that educates adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child abuse. The program believes and teaches that child safety is an adult’s job. Stewards of Children is designed for organizations that serve children and youth. It is the only child abuse prevention training that offers a certification, resource materials, and practical steps to preventing abuse.
